Nice! I was expecting to see it NOT have A/C being a Canadian car... nice to see this one has it. We need more interior photos. It looks high optioned, well at least it has power gate, 3rd seat and appears to have the "Custom" luxury interior option (heavy wood-grain on the door panels). Too bad it does not have wood-grain. **Well I re-read the ad and see it was originally a California car... maybe that is why it has A/C.
I remember this wagon. I checked it out while on a trip to So Cal three, maybe four years ago. Nice wagon, decent options--AC, tilt, PW, had about 86k miles on it (but it wasn't the Oldsmobile I wanted). The California owner at that time was selling it for his aging father. As the ebay ad says, someone in Arizona bought it, resprayed it, and, if I remember correctly, flipped it for about $12k. So I can't imagine the current Canadian owner has set the reserve price lower than that.
I'm sorry, but an ebay auction these days needs more than four photos with none of the interior save the back end. Especially if you want the kind of money he apparently does.
12K? Wow, I didn't know they were drawing that much ; well, maybe they're not as the current bid is only $3000
How much was the original owner in Cal selling it for?, keeping in mind it has been re-sprayed since.
I think it was around $4,500 maybe? It's been too long to know for sure. I just remember watching it on ebay thinking the flipper easily doubled his money.
I think this is probably the old ad in Long Beach CA priced at $6000. Buick road wheels probably added later - likely not too many Estate Wagons for 1973 in this color with no luggage rack. http://oldcars.com/car2544.html 1973 Buick Estate Wagon 1973 Buick Estate Wagon Classic Buick Station Wagon for sale. 455 V8 Engine. Back yet again. No price adjustment. Seller's dreaming. That loaded yellow '74 Olds Custom Cruiser in Manitoba priced at just $5000 looks that much better in comparison. http://www.kijiji.ca/v-classic-cars/ottawa/1973-buick-estate-wagon-clamshell/1017586077
Price drop to $10,000. http://www.kijiji.ca/v-classic-cars...ll/1017586077?enableSearchNavigationFlag=true Still not sold - seller is nuts.
