Somebody should forward that to Santa Claus. I'm sure Donner, Blitzen, Comet, Rudolph and the others must be getting up in years. May be time to trade them in for a newer sleeker model.
We got a herd of those creatures running the hills here. They were a gift to a local horseowner (SeaBisquit) from William Randolf Hearst in the 30's.
Santa wouldn't like white deer, although he only really travels once a year the miles he puts on the deer.... they would be a b**** to keep clean
I saw a white deer here one time. Although it wasn't totally white, it had a few tan patches on it's back. I was driving along the highway when I saw it on the side of the road. I stopped and backed up so the kids could see it. Pretty aren't they?
I bet they're still loaded with ticks and mites and such, lol. They do look pretty cool from a distance though.
my buddy dustin shot an albino deer a few years ago ...which is kinda weird considering he is a native American, they usually consider that bad luck.
Bad luck for the deer. In some states it's illegal to shoot albino deer and various other pigmentally challenged woodland critters. I wonder if they're all white meat?? I've eaten goat, had a big goat roast when my sister got out of the goat milk cheese racket, it was pretty baaaaad. If it was up to me all those giant forest rats would be rounded up and fitted with reflective orange vests with targets on them.
..... and while laws are being made their needs to be a law against deer crossing the road without using the crosswalk .... damn things!

Very interesting. I've never seen a white deer! Apparently they have a herd in New York, too: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seneca_white_deer Ever seen a white alligator? http://articles.orlandosentinel.com...rs11_1_gatorland-white-alligators-gator-swamp
