They may call it a "wagen," but it's just another moderate-size SUV. To me, a wagon should have more than a foot of space behind the second seat. The area behind the second seat should have enough room for a third seat or the equivalent in flat cargo space if the wagon is only a two-seater.
I agree. We've lost the wording for a "station wagon." That's just another midsized look alike SUV. I miss the VW beetle.
