Got a Rim blow steering wheel, which (as most of them) has a hardened and cracked rubber pad (there is even 3" missing). It doesn't operate anymore due to that. Still I like the steering wheel itself and want to restore it optically (have a horn button elsewhere).
So actually I 'm looking for a good replacement of that rubber pad/strip, 5/16"wide (the actual switch) which has a woodgrain pattern.
Looking for leads to such a rubber strip or any other inputs/ideas. Will upload photos later

Have seen a few sites about restoration of those wheels, but all were Ford or MOPAR.
