Heres an interesting photo I found buried among the hundereds of others.

So it looks like while other police departments settled for Fords, Chevys, Plymouths, and Dodges, the toll revenues in Massachusetts funded an upgrade to Chryslers. And as long as you're going with the Chrysler, theres no point in settling for the Windsor line. May as well spring for the top of the line 57 New Yorker.

Hmm, no white walls on that New Yorker, though!
Thanks for the turn on, Jim. Great site. Hey, didn't somebody's Dad have a '64 Chevy wagon just like that one? It might have been Steve.

I believe that this rig (Dodge wagon and camper) or a recreation of it, is on display at the Museum of Drag Racing in Pomona, California.

This 61 Impala wagon appears in a few of the vintage photos. This was the best photo. So far it appears that theres no shortage of wagons being represented in the collection of vintage photos.

Dang, that '61 Impala wagon is beautiful!
Love the kick-up of the bodyline at the front and rear. Great looking wheel covers and white-walls, too!
    Gorgeous!

Yup...back in the day, I never really paid much attention to the 61 Chevy wagons but, I have to say....those 61 Impala's do have some nice lines.

My next door neighbors had a dark blue '61 Impala wagon but I remember being so disappointed that it had black walls instead of white. I was 7 years old at that time and even then, I knew that whitewalls really dressed up a wagon.

I spent hours on that site. All 133 or what ever pages. Love it. Sent it to all my buddes. Got back a couple of #@#%$ as they also got caught up on it.

I think I should say thanks for posting it but dang I think I put a few pounds on munching while flipping through pictures.

    Thanks,
    Barry
