Hi everyone, I'm Wayne and i've got a 55 Hudson Rambler wagon that used to be my daily intil the front suspension wore out which started a rebuild as a mild custom (on the outside anyway!) it's now got a narrowed jaguar front suspension (70's XJ6) and a Ford 9" rear, wide whites and painted smoothie wheels with trim rings , i'm building a 383 stroker chevy which will either end up in the rambler or my suburban , which is a 1958 and will become a gasser over the winter and both my wagons will be doing duty as tow cars for my dragster,
I look forward to being part of your forum
    Cheers
    Wayne

Ha ha, Thanks Rev ,I'm still testing the splitty dragster and have only done licensing runs so far, The chassis is tagged 6.29 and quicker (don't know whether i want to go that fast in it ! or do I ?) It's got a 14-71 blown Keith Black hemi on alcohol and a 3 speed lenco , it'll be next year before i run it again but i'll let you know,
Oh the little car is a 1973 Fiat 500 that belongs to my girlfriend Jen, I used to have a '69 suburban and we'd park them together at shows ,made the fiat look smaller and the 'burb look HUGE ha ha

Well it's been a while since i posted on here but it's been a strange couple of years with Family losses ,house moves etc but i've finally got my arse into gear and started my Rambler , in the last couple of weeks i've built a new chassis with a narrowed 9" ,narrowed Jaguar XJ6 front subframe , airbags , and the dummy chevy and 'glide are sat in the engine bay , for anyone interested we Ran the splitty dragster this year and it did a 7.60 sec 1/4 @170mph on it's first full pass , I sold my '58 suburban as a '38 lincoln zephyr came along at the right price ! it will be a traditional tail dragger and i've fired up the flathead V12 and it sounds good !,
here are a couple of pics

oh i bought a dead A108 and we now use it for towing and camping
