I restored this car in 2007-2008, removing the woodgrain, most of the trim and the v-6. I built a 455 with a ported set of #96 400 big valve heads, XE268 Comp. Hydraulic cam, Edelbrock Performer RPM intake and reworked 800 Qjet. Headman Headers, 3in. exhaust with 40 series Flowmasters. The engine makes around 500h.p. TH350 built with a B&M transpak, shift kit, and a 3000 Holeshot converter. Out back is a beefed up factory 7.5 Metric rear with Posi, Moser axles and a 3.08 gear. Back tires are 295 50 15 BF Goodrich Drag Radials. The car runs 13.30's @ 100mph. in the quarter and I drive it too and from the racetrack. In the summertime it sees regular street/strip duty, along with the occasional grocery run.
