:2_thumbs_up_-_animathis car was in my sight's for a long time, every time i went past this farmer's property there was no one home, finally saw life one day, stopped, asked if they were interested in selling it.i offered them $2500 she said "how about $2000".i have never been "low-balled" on a buy before.the last time it was ran was 1998 so i dropped the oil, changed the fuel filter, put a new battery and she started first try.it's a 1969 greenbrier wagon with a 250 six,it has just over 65,000 miles i have only found 2 tear's in the front seat.i am the proud second owner of this beautiful project.
Congratulations Greenbrier. You drove by it for 8 years? Wow, that's so great you finally can put it in your own driveway and give it a good home. Enjoy.
There's always a gem nearby. Glad it caught your eye, 'cause you sound like you're the next guardian.
, great find, love not just the rarity of what it is but the rare colour and engine....and the fact it's all still there! I see your from Alberta, you must know Frank then? Alberta is a pritty big place, where ya from? Yup, keep the six, won't be long and people will be asking....'what did a factory 6 look like, I've seen pictures but.......
Yup! Keep the six and throw a Turbo on it. Better MPG, more HP, no major engine mods, and torque all the way up to the end of the redline, from way down at idle, right through hauling a trailer on the highway. And that pontiac has lots of room for it.
i live in grande prairie now but i'm from nanaimo.it came with a straight six, lot's of room under the hood.yes i'm keeping the six 2 speed powerglide
Check out these two for I6 info: http://www.inliners.org/ The FordSix site does have a GM I6 family too: http://fordsix.com/forum/
