i let chooch and doodle out while i gave Delaney a bath this morning. when i went to let them back in...part of the fence had blown down and they were gone!! i drove around looking for them and was told by a lady a couple doors down that she had help two preteen girls and a lady with a white Pontiac G6 corral them about 2 blocks down. when she inquired about the dogs the girls said "some guy abandoned them" the woman with the G6 said "Oh well then I will take them"...and off she went. i called the police and animal control, and the Lawerence county humane soc. and filed reports. im makeing fliers as we speak. i want my girls back
Ian, oh man...I don't know what to say, god dam I feel for you bud Put a ad in your local Craigslist and what ever other local online places like that with pics, even a ad in the news paper and don't forget to describe what happened, the car with discription etc and the dogs names. Did the dogs have tags?. Tags could help if the said person was/would bring them to a vet, the pound etc. Sh** Ian, I feel for ya big time, I hope you find the dogs soon! I'm thinking about you and your Pups bud, think positive, your gona find them!!
Man - pound the streets looking for the lady in the G6. That's a good, solid lead. Track her down. Don't know what's going around with dogs lately. Family up the road lost their 2 dogs the other day - got flyers put up everywhere -even into town 10 miles away....
That's just plain nasty. Good luck finding them. Hope the authorities have a 'chat' with the chicklet chompers too.
Best of luck finding the four legged children of yours. I have grown up all my life with dogs, I could never see my life with out them. I have a 5 year old German Shep, hes a great dog, but I still worry something will get his attention when hes in the back yard (its fenced) and he would try to take off.
Thats my absolute WORST nightmare!!! Hope you find them, we´ll kepp our fingers, and paws crossed for your luck all the way over here in sweden too..
well hallelujah, thank God for answered prayers. i just got home from picking them up. i got a call around 9 pm. the lady with the G6 and her husband went to go rent a video and saw my flier hanging up at the counter. she called me and i met her, chooch and doodle are home safe and sound! thanks guys for your thoughts and prayers. - ian
Ian, I just read you PM, I can't repeat what I said but... :dancingparty: I am so happy this turned out good!! And now about this family reunion...... I just told my wife, we're all happy for you! EDIT>>> Alot of thanx does need to go the the lady that took the dogs, the way I undrstand it she thought the dogs had been abandoned because of what she was told by the kids who most likely being kids did'nt know what they were saying. This lady took the dogs, took care of them, and was able to return them home. Awesome person!
