over on the gm longroof forum, talking of next years wagonfest taking place in flint the week of "woodward dream cruise" and "back to the bricks".

im gonna bet you can make that one fox? Lord willing and the creek dont rise?

my question is ....how many of the non 1991-1996 b body wagon guys could make flint for next years Goodwood?

think about it....you have 40 or so 91-96 gm wagons plus all the ford and mopar and older gm wagon guys here!!! longroof out the wazoo!!!
you figure michigan is below manitoba...we may even be able to coax Norman and Andy into showing up.....and maybe.....just maybe, the REV, Teddy, and Hugh!!!! maybe im dreaming big here but i have longroof dreams!!!! can you just picture it.....hundreds of wagons!!! proof positive that people do love our longroofs!!!!:whew:

I'd love a trip like that, I'm more than confident that iether the 83 or 87 would make the trip no problem but I would choose the 83. The 87 is on propaine and is soooooo cheap to operate but where the hell would I be able to fill up?

It would be fun, fun just to get out(any where).....my last vacation was in 2000:49:

Does this mean that it is no longer being run by the same guy? Cause when I talked to him he only wanted it generally open to members of the Impala forum.

stick, i was always told the initial reason for that was because everyone came to his house for breakfast. from what i understand, this has not been the case for a few years.
now, as fox said...Fred has moved to Seattle. and is no longer in charge of WF on this side of the Mississippi. there is a split between people on the other board. some want to keep it in waterloo, a lot want to move it to flint, or have it in addition to waterloo.

i loved WF in waterloo but even fred said that since he doesnt live there anymore....and no one else does. there is no point in having it there anymore.

waterloo is so charming, its sick.
but ..for some odd reason the hotels were almost 2x the price of carlisle!!!
and there is literaly nothing else to do there unless you have a boat(the kind that goes on the water..not out cars).
as mentioned before the fest in flint would be during "back to the bricks" and "Woordward dream cruise" and if im not correct, some of you go to those anyway don't you ? think about it...its pretty central. and most of us have talked about a central location to meet someday....this is pretty central and...well ...we aint gettin any younger!!!
