Not described very well, but then again the discription sounds like a well looked after car. Could(?) be a origonal owner? 1991 Buick Roadmaster Station Wagon. 177kms - 305 V8 Most options. Very good condition, no rust or damage history. Original paint and garaged virtually from new. $2200
I have a feeling about this one......crapy, yet intersting description, old BCAA sticker on the tail gate....it screems origonal owner, looked after, etc, etc
That looks sweet. I'm starting to jones, it must be a good one.... http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=jonesing Just in case there are those who don't know what I'm talking about.
Tedy - where can I locate the advert for this wagon to get the contact info. I've got a friend who may pursue it. Thanks
305 or not...from what I can see, that is one of the better Roadies I have seen in a long time! Stop posting all these teasers, Fat!!
If you look at the yard in the background which is well kept, and an older type neighborhood, you get the feeling that it is some old wagon owner on the Island - whoops, I mean another old wagon owner on the Island besides Tedy, who has taken very good care of his "stuff".
OOPS, guess I kinda forgot the link http://www.usedvictoria.com/classified-ad/1991-Buick-Roadmaster-SW_12592926 250-656-9233
Hey Saf, I called...... Bout new in Vancouver, buy the origonal Victoria owner. Sold in 93 to second owner (Victoria). Sold to Peter, the third owner just under 2 years ago. Never been hit, garaged, reciets, etc Cat converter removed a year ago (rattleing) Air works but could use a charge Oil presure gage has a mind of it's own...(sending unit?) Says "it will use a drop of oil but does'nt leak it or smoke" and was very clear it only uses drops now and then Burgandy leather, no rips with the centre arm rest console box. still with the factory sterio/cassete All power options work, seats, windows etc Couple small parking lot dings, but yery minor This owner had the rear bumper repainted, clear coat was starting to peel but the rest of the car is origonal. Cruise does'nt work, he says he could not figure it out. Some minor scrapes in the cargo erea, but says they are very minor. Spring on gear shift lever is broken (again), last owner paid through the nose to have it repaired and it only lasted a year, this owner said once he say the bill for that repair...why bother as it's not affecting the car in any way. There just is no resistance in the lever. Key Fob, owner lost it when he bout the car Has factory cargo cover in mint shape. Tires good, last time in the shop he left with his brakes, no repairs needed. ( this was the same time the cat was removed) Wagon is inshured and avalible for test drive! Had a nice shat with the fellow, he's retired, only drives it a couple times a week, and has one to many cars now. I had a good feel talking with him, straight up, straight fore ward answers, he even asked questions and made coments....."If your planning on towing, this is'nt the car for you because the 305 won't work well". Do you know the size of this car, it is big, not exactly a comutor car".... Then I told him about mine, and he told me about his 90 Buick he sold to then buy this one....he's a wagon guy, and clearly would like to see it go to a wagon person. I just said I have a friend in van who may be intersted, so I did'nt tell him about the forum...don't want to see a price hike, but over all I have a strong feeling this is a true honest well looked after car! Saf, if your friend is interested, let me know if I can help in any way!..More Pics etc. Car is close to the ferry (Sidney) and just a stone through out of my way.
Tedy - I passed the info on to my friend, he just returned from holidays today. I'm off myself so it is in his hands now to pursue it or not. I know he was impressed as he'd seen the info I had sent while they were away and he emailed me to get the detail. I cut and paste your info and he should be about as up to date without going to see it yet as a person can be. I hope he gets it, or at least gets one. He has wanted one for a long time and this one meets all his preferred options/colors/approximate condition. Will let you know what happens when we get home. Thanks again Tedy. As always, you've been a big help.
If this car is as nice as it looks, I'm surprised it's still available. Some people don't care that it's not an LT1 car...there are even some advantages with the 305. IIRC the 305 and the later 350's that were in these cars, before the LT1 in 96, were the same HP.
This tempts me to get rid of my 01 blazer, a.k.a. "The Black Plague" and get a wagon. Hate to drive something that nice in the central New York winters though. Brian
