Probably not. Less than 20 minutes left. It does have some redeeming factors about it. But...I really, REALLY HATE it when sellers do their creative little segmented close up pix and avoid showing you anything in the perimeter of those pix!

    I think it's a hearse, isn't it?
Maybe one for making those special deliveries from the morgue?

Do you need a jump seat in the back for a hearse?

Pontiacguy, did you see the 66 Cat the other day, 421 and 8 lugs? $4K I think it went for...

20+ years ago there was a 59 or 60 Cadilac Hearse/ambulance in town, even got to go for a ride in it.

It was origonal white but clearly looked "hearse". It had the jump seat like this interiour and I do remember the owner saying it came from the States and had shared use with a small retirement hospital and a funeral home.

thats definately an ambulance. see the little hockey puck thingys on the floor. They hold the stretcher in place while driving. I think the ambulance and the hearse are done by the same body company, they just get different interior fittings.

This a combination hearse/ ambulance . The rollers flip over to form a flat service and the attendants seats are flipped up in ambulance mode . In Hearse mode the seats are down and the rollers are up. This was built by Superior Coaches Pic is of my 66 Caddy Combination I once had

Just a quick question, what is the scoop on the rear passenger quarter?

I know those Poncho folk are big into hood-mount tachs, ya reckon they misplaced this one?

Interesting car, to say the least!

I guess the dual purpose hearse/ambulance must have come in very handy when they didn't get their patient to the hospital in time.

Funeral homes usually had the ambulance/meat wagon services. There is a nice Vista Cruiser ambulance around here, rarely see it. The guy got it from an old funeral home , still has all the stuff inside, fortunately no old customers.:rofl2:

I think those side scoops are for the auxiliary rear heater/s air intake?
