    hellu

450 for that chevy, that is almost for free.

Is it common, that cars go for that amount, like older ones.
    Fullsize ones?

    Cheers!

There's a real push here to get people into more 'efficient' cars, so these bigger models aren't that popular anymore. Wagon Fever hasn't caught on, so yeah prices are lower. The nice thing is that cars that 'matured' here, never got the full dose of roadsalt that other Provinces use.:D

You can find all kinds of cars and trucks from the 1900's to the 1970's in farmers' fields from the roadside. Helps to stop into a town's coffee shop and ask around, make a contact or two and have a heck of a good map. Country roads and country miles depend on whose telling. AND a FULL Tank of gas! :D

You'll meet a lot of Swedes here. Before Canada existed (1867), each Province was trying to establish itself as a nation. Manitoba was established in 1862, after winning a battle with the Icelandics in Gimli, Manitoba, who were also fighting with Norwegians and Swedes. Today, Gimili is known as our Viking City, although it's main trade is Fishing and Tourism, as well as Boat-Building.

Here's a few maps and details:

This is the Official Map Page of the Province. Most cars are in the Southern half (Top of the two big lakes to the US Border (49th Parallel).

You can do the Tourist thing or befriend a farmer or two and camp on their land. Official Provincial and Federal camping grounds are controlled by the Province, but there are some private ones. You can rent tools almost anywhere, but again, the Farmers here have huge Equipment sheds with the best tools to maintain their monster grain and farm tractors.

They don't call it Friendly Manitoba for nothing.
