I do love the burl wood wrap-around dash and console, though. TBirds had some of the coolest dash and instrument clusters.

You hit that nail on the head :D(y)

My wife is the "green" person. I'm okay with it but she really likes it. That and burgundy, and dark gray's are the colors she appreciates the most.

For me, if it is kinda dark and kinda shiny then I'm pretty much happy.

And her Chevelle is non of the above and she loves it so what the heck do I know about what colors women and in particular my wife likes?:49:

I'm with you, Krash...yes on the lighter color (y), no on the interior :slap:.

This T-Bird shows a "D" color code: Medium Turquoise Metallic. That would be the lighter of the two colors. I actually like this color on this vintage of car.

I guess the two-tone seemed like a good idea at the time. :disagree: Nope.

The entire interior is the downer for me, because a '62 Thunderbird interior is one of the all-time best designs, and the original materials are so much more attractive than grey velour.

On the plus side, someone worked very hard on this, and for the most part, was successful in creating a good looking T-Bird wagon. :2_thumbs_up_-_anima

I am not a big fan of mixing Ford and GM designs, but this is well done...both were some of the best designs of the '60's.

I wonder if the back seat folds?

    David :)

I know the car ... it's been for sale at least 9-10 years ..
I first saw it at the Jan Turlock swap meet . ..many years ago
I liked the car but it is always priced way out of sight

the owner is getting up there in years --- plus he is losing his hearing
I tried to help him sell it and he bit my head off ...he trusts no one

I guess that is why he consigned it ...it's a cool T bird
