Got a 75 Chrysler Town & Country and now starting to track down parts and info on the car. it has 39000 miles on it due to it being used to transport workers . to there boat to go fishing for weeks at a time. How the story goes is the 1st owner bought it so him and his crew could all travel in one car to there fishing boat every 2weeks-1month and when he retired the car just sat in his driveway till last summer when a guy bought it for the motor to put in his truck he was restoring but the truck fell apart before it was done. This November the car went up for sale and I noticed it on the local classifieds website called the number and got the car for $700. the car is all there minus a few little pieces that i need to track down. that's what I joined for to get some help in finding the parts and how to bring this forgotten car back to a nice summer cruiser.
Well, ya came to the right place, T&C. Have fun, and tell Danny I wish him well. He's my hero. For some rust-free Arizona parts, you might start here: http://www.dvap.com/ For lights and chrome bits, this is pretty good: http://www.taillightking.com/ For all things Mopar, check the links here: http://www.imperialclub.com/Yr/index.htm Our Site Links Directory has a bunch of weatherstrip suppliers and carpet, upholstery vendors. http://www.stationwagonforums.com/forums/local_links.php And for Mopar radios and speakers, you can't beat this one: http://www.allpar.com/ http://www.allpar.com/stereo/ Now, how's about some pictures of that land yacht!
Here are some pics of the car I do have all the hubcaps and the trim for the door but am missing the clips that hold it on.
Your clouds land on the roof too, I see. Here's one Clip Joint! http://www.clipsandfasteners.com/Chrysler_Jeep_Clips_Fasteners_Retainers_s/66.htm Another one: http://www.auveco.com/ And one more: http://www.justclippsauto.com/sampleboard04.htm You can probably save yourself some time and money by going to a Bodyshop supply store and look through their racks too. Shipping usually costs more than these parts and you only need a few. At least you'll have some pictures you can print and show them.
to the wagon train, T&C. I love those T&C's from around that era. You got it for $700??? I think I hate you.
A 1975 with only 37000 original miles for $700. You'd better hope the local cops don't find out; they'll arrest you for grand theft auto! What a deal. The car looks in fine shape, too. I'm sure it runs out great as well, right? Good for you. Welcome aboard.
Hey 75t&c, Welcome to the forum! I love that big, wonderful wagon! Cool color too! Most of these seem to be in shades of browns and golds, so this bright blue is really different, and fun. You got a killer deal, and I know you will have fun with this wonderful wagon. They drive like a dream! (My uncle always had T&C's and this model was his last) David
You think you hate him? I hate him for 5 minutes.. Where are the Kops??? Welcome what a beautiful wagon!
