That was my old 56 chevy sedan delivery drag car , a real surviving gasser, not a recent build ,It was just pulled out of my buddy's barn there to be freshened up , now sold and in Iowa being restored and raced to its gasser days glory,.It was a FUN car, but not titled or much good for the street anymore. It insisted on pulling the front wheels everytime I nailed it, heh heh, 396/Muncie 4 spd/Olds rear

Hey! I'm one short (not the golden finger though!) My wife types at 75 wpm in Spanish and 53 wpm in English. With a strong coffee, I can get up to the blazing speed of about 9 wpm. She rides my butt, for my hunt-and-pick' speed, on the keyboard, only. :rofl2:

It's like that line from a mother to her son: "My dear son, I'm writing slow, 'cause I know you don't read too fast." :D

Sure here , This one a 1941 chevy special deluxe sport sedan (2dr) is going to get sold a part at a time and then I'll sell the rolling shell. I would never recoup my investment as a whole car w everything I have done or or have for it. What you see here is very close to 9K invested and does not run or stop yet. (Tho I have everything to make it so) sad, but thats the state of the hobby ,if its not done, its not worth much. I'll keep the BBC,Cherry Bombs and mags for the wagon I will eventually end up with.

I've been developing software since 1972 (mainframes and CNC machines) in Fortran, then started serious Windows programming in 1985 with UGLY Windows 1.04, then Win2.0, up to Win NT 5.0, I refused to go back to C++ and C style coding in the new Microsoft languages in Visual C++ and Visual Basic under their new DotNet development tools. I was on the World wide Beta tests for Windows95 in 1994 and up to the launch of Win95 in July, 1995. I was a Microsoft Solution Provider in all of the MS Office packages.

I got on this site, this year, and discovered that you could get Radio stations, about 8 days ago, when HandyAndy told me it was available. 35 years in the game, up close to Mama Microsoft, and I learned about the toys! So the PC is on all day, with all kinds of bells and whistles (dev tools that I built for me) to let me know what's happening. If its too ccccoooolllld, I do some research for the business (its our slack season), and find some news from the online Press in several languages, and embarass my inept politicians with their extra-terrestrial policies.

But I do type slow. I write code like the wind, and since most shops measure you by Lines per day, I focus on function first, and pretty, after. It's worked for me, over the years. :)

We're listening to Mexican Mariachi music, some of the Christmas classics in English, French or Spanish. My wife melts when she hears her favourite heart-throbs from the past. What can I say? :D

It's a cold winter, something has to keep you warm... :biglaugh: :biglaugh: :biglaugh:

dgas have you tried to list it on Craigslist? It's free and goes nation wide but you have to list in the states you want to advertise. I wish I could buy it but can't right now.

Yep, its on the Mnpls/St Paul Mn section. The next step is listing every part seperate on ebay , take awhile and just as soon not , but I know from my experiance there that I will actually do better cash wise. I have a private bone yard behind a buddys farm , whats left will go there.
