i no what u mean my big brother had a 1982 caprice his wife was driving it hit a chevy blazer the blazer got towed away and there was a scratch on the caprice thats it .... its amazing how much tuffer the old cars are than the new cars

YEP! The old cars were the Timex of cars. Though today's are indeed safer.

Seeing this Chevette woody brings back memories....

Years ago when I had my Colony with wood there was a misirable old timmer that rented a shop beside mine. He loved going out of his way to insult anyone and mostly for no reason.

My Colony to him was "gay" as he put it because it had wood and wood on cars to him was gay. Allways with the "gay wagon" coments even if kids were around.

Well, one day he bout another car, a Chevette just like in the pic with wood. He drove in and got out, I was'nt looking when he drove in and there were several people there along with my daughter who was about 8-9 years old then. I then hear my daughter say loud enouph to make every body look...."Look, J** has a gay car now"

EVERYONE split there guts open lauphing, the misirable old fart was soo mad he did'nt even say anything, he got back into his car and drove away.......there were never any coments from him about "gay wagon" ever again and you could see it was killing him because all would sniker when he drove in.

 

Going back to the original Buick wagons out of the 80s. I remember these really well. This movie pushed me to keep bothering my dad to lease one. His company leased Buicks, Centurys and Park Ave models.

4:46 is when the wagon first shows up. It is used in the whole movie. Its called Adventures In Babysitting.
