It is still 1972 Buick related! The 1972 Buick Riviera Silver Arrow III had those. Hard to see in the photo (can't find a better one at the moment) Just last week I primered the Electra (except for one fender skirt... but that will be solved soon thanks to David )
WOW! Amazing! David, she is coming along fantastic. Just goes to show that you don't need the high dollar shops to build a great looking car. your work speaks for itself!!! Excellent photos! Can't wait to see in person!
Do you Buick guys know about this Classic Buick site? VIN numbers, Engine Casting numbers, Paint colour codes, and Parts... http://www.buicks.net/
Don't know how I found this, just a minute ago, but figured you Buick folks might be interested: http://www.emblemagic.com/other70s.htm EDIT: Just figured out where it came from - Classic car parts and services site. Go figure! http://www.autoelf.com/
Thanks 'Vid. If you think it looks evil now, just wait until it is all together and coated in black epoxy primer. It will, for a while, look like Christine's younger, more down-to-earth sister...evil, yet so practical! David
Here's a more close up look on those 72 Silver Arrow brake/blinker (?) lights From 74-76 those lights were on the Riviera near the lower rear window as Olds had those on the Toronado from 71 (?? Jeffrey.... help me out here ) I still have those bezels/lights/sockets here from a 75 Riviera parts car... if you can use them David, please let me know.
not sure about Riv, I think they were 74 75 76 like the Toronado... Toronado started in 71, thru 78. I had a 76 Riv once that I really liked and was looking for a boattail when the Toronado found me. The Rivs look good, added on but very nicely styled. The Toros are definetly more plain, but more integrated. a 71 currently not moving on eBay for the 5th relisting:
D'oh! I knew I forgot something...A SUNROOF! Whadaya think guys, should I go for it? It was available on an Electra. I'll get you for this, Rev!!! David
