Her are pics of my Daily Driver, A 73 Plymouth Satellite Custom. It is a 6 passenger wagon. It has a 318 and an auto. It has an 8 3/4.The air works, as does everything else, the rear window needs help to go up or down though. I have added buckets and a buddy seat from a cordoba, I hope to upgrade to seats from an Intrepid soon. As you can see, its green, with a green interior. The wheels are wheel vintiques, 15 x 8, and bfg tires, I think I might be able to go 15 x 10 in the rear. I have a 400 b motor on the stand, it may end up in here someday, but mostly, I just enjoy this car.

Yep, another 'upgrade man'. Fine looking wagon, Ted.:thumbs2:

I keep finding goodies from other Ford Fox models to make mine more comfy, etc. Don't know if I should call it a FairStang, a CapriMont, or Ford57, but I love her - 12 years and getting better.

I don't see anything wrong with using newer car stuff, if it makes the car more user friendly, I put on average, 300 miles a week on this wagon. It needs to be comfortable.

Oh I agree. Mine came with all the goodies I need except for good cloth seats and it still doesn't have an 8-track. I can't imagine using a wagon as a daily driver and not having tilt, cruise, a/c and such. Mine is new enough to have the disc power brakes and shoulder harnesses which I consider essential for daily use.

In 73 , plymouth made disc brakes standard on all b bodies, but the wagons also got the heavy duty suspension as standard, When I got the car, it had an 8 track, I pulled it out, it also has a early 70's "speed control", you pull the knob, it holds your speed the same, its hooked up to the gas pedal. to turn it off, you push the knob in, kinda scary if you forget. I also have a trailor hitch and electronic trailor brakes. It tows 3000 lbs without any drama.
That is a nice cougar wagon you've got, you have any spare parts? I am looking for a steering wheel for my black magic capri.

    Nice looking car Teddy.

That "cruise option" sounds like something I would get myself in trouble with though...

Keep us updated on the changes when you do them. It will be interesting to see if it makes it more fun to drive or if you are already in 73 heaven.

Great wagon! And I like the color. I just painted my '67 Tempest wagon a similar color. (Lime Gold)

Nice long roof, Teddy. That cruise control sounds kind of scary!!
Your's is of the same vintage of another member's, Marcar, who has a real clean '72. (I think it's a '72.)
