My name is Klas, new member here. Just thought I´d drop by to see if I could make some friends here. I currently have no wagon, but am working on it... But maybe my firetruck counts as a wagon... Chevy from 1958... Also drive a cadillac deville from 1988 as a daily commuter. Maybe someone in here could help me look for a decent wagon. I am on the hunt for one. Cheers. Klas
You've come to the right place! Welcome. I drove a 1958 GMC Tow truck in my family's scrap business. We nickednamed it the rattlecan. Hope the firetruck version is quieter, but then you have the caddy to soften the jitters.
whaaaza Hehehe, cooooooool! I am so naming her the Rattlecan, that is friggin hilariuos. Next weekend I think I can fix some pictures of her. My plan is to build an auto transport of her, kinda like a soft rod.... But the hunt still goes for a ford ltd wagon. I had a 1983 sedan, that rocked. Black, with vinyl roof, all options, red leather interior. Aaaah, would love to get a wagon like that... Cheers
Welcome to our forums. I love this place so much goes on here. What kind of wagon are you looking for? With all of us here someone will find what you are looking for....
yahoo Hi there old tired rebel. Would love to get my hands on some ford ltd wagon in supreme condition, since they are not that expensive. Love the early wagons from the eighties. Having a 351 engine which is great engine, I hope to have a decent summer runner, I have a big ass dog, Leonberger. So she has to fit in the back. As for options I would go for all in, hehehe. Also considering the mercurys to. I had a 78 caprice which I liked much, but the fords have something the chevys don´t. Don´t know what it is, but there is something. I like the chevys to, so don´t get me wrong The fords seem to have a more solid feel to them, or maybe it is just me thinking that. I also have all the time in the world to look for one, so when the one that really gets my heart going, I can travel to get her, distance ain´t no problem. It is just that I have discovered recently I have been fulfilling my dreams in a way. So there is no need for me to try to fight this urge of owning one big ass station wagon. Cheers! Beercan. Also her eis my vehicle history report. First car was a daihatsu, asian small car. Then the list goes on... Ford crown victoria -83 Renault 5 -83 Fiat 128 -75 Opel -81 Opel -77 Ford fiesta -81 Volvo 244 -77 Saab 900- 83 Chevy Caprice -78 Chevy Blazer -88 Dodge ram (van) -88 Chevy cheyenne -77 Volvo 744 -87 renault clio -96 Mercedes 200 -91 Renault 5 -83 Peugout -88 Volvo 855 -97 Mustang -66 vw Rabbit convertible -91 Chevy firetruck -58 that is about it, might have forgotten some...
Ya just missed a nice one! http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=230196175424&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT&ih=013 It's an 86 with EFI 302. We like our woodies, don't we?
Adam, I watched the snow reports last nite and Chicago usually gets a taste, but you haven't got any? Are there palm trees there too? Misery loves company and all that... BTW, that picture idea in a Welcome is right on!
howdy! Hehehe. Cool cars, and cool people, seems like just the place to hang out. Woodies, Sure love them... But that wagon clone from the chevy chase movies, is going to be so kickass. Can´t remember the name of the movie, I got totally blank here. But I think I will try to find a black ltd wagon from the early eighties. Add some nice rims, like turbine wheels, and ready to go Cheers Beercan.
I'll let Adam tell ya, but that could go in the Signature... Hint, hint. You know what it is about Fords, they're easy to repair. F.O.R.D. Fix Or Repair Daily. GM's have interchangeability of parts, and Chrysler used to have until the mid-90's. Rice Rockets change parts every six months - you have to give the date of manufacture to get a carburetor or starter. They think it's like a box of chocolates - you never know what you're gonna get.
hey Muahahaha, so not a ford fan there, hahaha. Me, I just love cars, and the smell of gasoline. http://newyork.kijiji.com/c-Cars-ve...N-VIC-COUNTRY-STATION-WAGON-W0QQAdIdZ30105608 Anyone in new york, nice car for little money, but not black so that one is not for me Cheers! P.S 2 friends and neighbours both have caprices, so yes, but still would love to get a ford just because it is a ford, hehehe.
No, I love my Fairmont Squire. Best car I've ever had to work on. Peppy, easy at the pumps and just roomy enough. It's number 77 in the cars I've owned.
Nr 77, geez, hehehe It is like the bucket of cars you had as a child, hahaha. Cool. Check this one out, I think I am in love. but no wagon. Please don´t hurt me for posting this... http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.j...ist=1833&superSpotlight=&LNX=ESTAFSRCHUSDTEXT
