Hello everybody a new member to station wagon forums. I just aquired a 1966 plymouth valiant wagon with a slant 6 and needs alot of resto. i will be posting pics soon. thanks
Welcome to ranch! There's a 65 or 66 sedan up here that hasn't moved for at least 3 years. I've never asked if its for sale, but if you need something, I could pop by. Mind you, you've got a better shot at rust-free cars in AZ. Like these guys: http://www.dvap.com
Never had a old Valiant wag (wish I did) but had a 63 valiant rusted out rag top once. I also really like those old valiant wagons, looking fore ward to some pics
Welcome! Valiants will always have a special place for me, as my firts car was 72 four door (swiss build) with the /6.
If im not mistaken, thoes older Valants had a hand crank rear window. No power rear slider on them. They like alot of other Chrysler cars were weird body styles. As fr the 70s Valants / Darts, you just couldnt beat that buzzing half dozen, the slant 6 motor were and the best motors ever made. Just industructable ! I had a friend who drove his Valiant with no oil preasure, no coolant and so on and that motor would take the abuse. No wonder why thoes cars were used as police cars and Taxi cabs.
