To answer some questions, I had a picture in my head of a color I wanted, and after this color got sprayed on the car, I realized that it was completely wrong and that I would just save that plan for one of my other wagons. So Steve, tell your ladies, sorry. [IMG] I do have a couple colors in mind, and like the Rev said, the interior is already sitting in my basement. I think it will look good. I hope!

As for it's shape, it is actually in pretty good shape. It has alot of surface rust in the back and such, from moisture, BEFORE the tent fell. I was desert dry when the tarp came off. The floors have a couple holes in them, but, I think I'm gonna do it properly and redo the floor. I can get a full 1 pc floor for it, so I might as well. Do it right the first time, right?

Barry, of course it doesn't rain here. Ha! Say, hows the Airstream? [IMG]

Hey S-B, the Airstream is great. On idle till Feb when we'll pull it out and take it for a WA coast week. Sigh - I hate the waiting. Blasting down the highway in the '57 with the trailer in tow is about the most fun I've ever had. Just don't tell my wife....

Look forward to seeing the 59 when it is painted. Are you providing in-progress pictures to keep our appetites whetted?

    Barry

Yes, sir, I will be. Right now, my bodyman is just finishing up on a couple of things and then it's game on.

    So pictures soon to follow.

You ever been down to the Whidbey Island Jazz Festival? I used to be a member at the Hot Jazz Club, on Main, in Vancouver. We'd go down there in caravans for the festival. Lots of folks from all over, and a week's worth of great music. Neat town too. Usually in late July, when its dry(er).:D

Not very exciting to the everyday guy, but to me, this is super rad. Apperantly Joel, (my body guy), has it off the frame and onto a rotissory. BONER! I have no pictures of that yet, he took some, I just haven't gotten any.
    More to come......................

WOW!....you are going all the way. Frame off!! :thumbs2:
That Chris Craft sure brought back memories for me! Used to ride around the Madison lakes in one of those. My friend's dad was rich and always had a new Chris Craft! Man...those were the days. Another friend's dad was a big wig at Chrysler so his dad and mom would both have top of the line new Mopars every year.
