Hi everyone! Just got my "new" '95 Buick Roadmaster Estate Wagon running in tip top shape as I saved it from the crusher! I love all wagons and am really glad to be a member here! I particularly love the 1990's GM B-body wagons and sedans... if anyone wants to chat about them feel free to message me! Glad to be on board with all the other "boats"! -Doug
to the wagon train RandMaster. I just got a 96 B-Body myself. Lots of others here too. Way to go saving that from the crusher!
The B-Body boats... I like that. Well you're rowing in time with all the oars in the water . Welcome.
I posted some pics in my profile... Check them out. Basically, I bought the car real cheap since the trans had been slipping in reverse ($1400)...got away with driving it all the time even when I decided to have the trans rebuilt. I also discovered my wheel-wells in the rear were completely rotted away...leaving my floors saturated with a LOT of water... This car was lookin pretty sad at first and was probably on its way to the crusher if it didn't sell. I found her in the nick of time and at this point, all I have to do is put the rubber moldings back on when it warms up in the spring and my boat is perfect! I luckily work on the car with my father since we both love these things...he knows auto-body work very well. Anyway, after seeing perfectly good wagons being destroyed with the cash for clunkers program on Youtube, (and almost throwing up in sickness), I was in a frenzy to get one of these babies before they become extinct. I also have a 95 Caprice sedan and 93 Caprice wagon (which unfortunately has seen better days...) I love these cars!
its kind of bizarre to think that a 15 year old car....is old enuff to be heading to the scrap pile !!......gives me the willies ....your car is 20 years newer than everything I own !!...(cept a couple) well....good save...and to your new home away from home
