Wait......we have beer!? Wow, torbro...that's coming along real nice. That's gonna be a sweet car when you finish your thing with it. It's nice now but....you are making it SWEET!
Nice wagon, Torino. Wish I had run into you when I lived in Orange (up until this last August). Those shots of your's and stepson's wagons looks like downtown Anaheim. Do you make it over to Fab Fords Forever at Knott's every year?
\ Great website Torinobros. Love the convert! Uh, the wagon too, but always liked the converts and hardtops too. Sure do like what you are doing with the wagon. Is that also your green one on the other side in one of the pics? Barry
Welcome to the forum and I loved the writeup and pics on your site. Great lookin Sport Squire you have been building up, would be great to find a gem like that out here somewhere.
Oh A salvage really dosent tell the true story. My 72 Monaco wagon has a salvage title also. But back in 1983 when it got nicked on the front bumper some high paid big wig at AAA thought it would cost too much to fix a 100 dollar bumper while the wagon wasnt worth anything. The original owners bought the Dodge back and paid to fix it themselves out of their own money. So long as the wagon drives st8 down the road and the structural integraity was never compromised, screw it, drive it. Eventually ill sell mine off but I have the insurance report of the damage that happened and it really wasnt anything. Ill use that as leverage when I finally decide to get out of the wagon kick.
Yeah , one pic is from the Galaxie Club show in downtown Anaslime . Used to hit the Knotts show every year ( I live 2 blocks south ) , but it's gettin' to be nuthin but Rustangs , so I doubt I'll be goin anymore .
The green one belongs to my stepson --- he's attending UTI , so progress on his will be slow ( starving college student ) until he gets full time work . He's actually done quite a bit to it already .... I need to update my website .... Thanx again to everyone for the kind words and warm welcome !!!!
Yeah - I went back in May. Was really disappointed with all the Mustangs there. Looking at the old ones was OK, but you get sorta bored seeing the same thing over and over on the newer ones.......not really that impressed. Now show me a 'fox' -bodied wagon with Mustang components - now you got something.
Welcome Torbros. Yikes, you guys are into Torino's, that's for sure. When I was in my teens, my best friend's parents had a '69 dark blue Torino Squire. We practically lived in that car and had so much fun in it. It's a good thing the seats couldn't talk. You've got some good looking cars there; thanks for all the pictures. Your website is great, by the way.
