I was the buyer, I did have a spare nosepiece that was in great shape (the aforementioned later design ones used a different material that didn't degrade). I freshened it up mechanically and added some factory original options but otherwise left it as is. Beautiful and well maintained from new car, I got lucky.

Awesome! Of course, pics are always welcome, when the lady is ready.

Not great pics but it’s all I had on my phone. The car is in great rust free and hit free original condition. And it drives wonderfully, very tight and solid.

The paint is old and wasn’t the best quality but it looks nice because the body is so straight. The only work I need to do on the outside was to paint the nosepiece and straighten the bumper a bit (nose had been pushed in slightly).

mechanically it ran quite well, just did the tuneup stuff, carb overhaul and went through the brakes steering and suspension (which needed almost nothing). I installed a factory correct dual exhaust from Waldrons complete with resonators. The only thing the interior needed was to install a correct rear speaker (it had been factory built with one but an aftermarket speaker had taken its place at some point. The original dash, seats, door panels, carpet etc were all like new.

Then I raided my decades old parts stash for original options and I added some factory correct niceties like Custom wheelcovers (instead of the deluxe units), 8 track player, power antenna, custom sport steering wheel, tilt, under hood lamp, deluxe seatbelts with front shoulder belts, power windows, locks and seat.

So now the car still looks and feels like a survivor but just looks nicer and is more enjoyable to use.

Were the pics before or after the factory mods?

I bought that car in 2021. I installed a nice used original nosepiece and gave it a good going through. Car was a never accidented and rustfree car. Just needed some TLC 2024-10-15 139.JPG
