Well as with an rust issue the floor was worse than we thought.
In the fall while out for a walk I was introduced to a young man (Morgan) who does body work. We approached him about the floor. It turned out that he was laid off for the winter and would be glad of the work.
He came by later that afternoon, had a look, laid out what needed to be done and gave us a price. He started two days later. He worked on it for six days, not consecutive, and got it fixed.
We are happy with what he did, his manner and his enthusiasm for our car. The few times I went out to have a look he stopped what he was doing and explained the good, the bad, the ugly and what he was doing and the next steps.
I have a few pictures but be warned some of them are scary.

    WE NEED YOUR HELP.

The right rear quarter power window needs the regulator replaced. We haven't had any luck as yet finding one. Marshall gave us a lead but they don't ship to Canada.
If anyone knows where we can try please let us know. I tried NOS yesterday...no luck.

We are also wondering if anyone knows if there are parts from other cars or other year that might fit?

Oh my gosh! We have had no luck finding a window regulator tape to replace the one that is broken. We have started to look for the entire regulator so we have been searching sights like Kijji , E-Bay, Amazon, etc. We have also been searching salvage yards. We have found 3 junked cars in three different yards that have the regulator. One won't ship to Canada and the other two are at two different Kenny U Pull yards in Ontario and they won't pull the part. So frustrating to say the least.
I just sent an email to Desert Valley Auto Parts, we should hear back tomorrow. Fingers crossed

It's interesting that they won't ship to Canada??? I was taken aback. But I was even more surprised when the other place wouldn't ship from Ontario to Nova Scotia.
We heard back from DVAP, they have cars but no regulators. They did give us a couple of other places to check out, so we'll do that next.

Thank you so much for your offer. I will be in touch if we need to go that route.

We found a donor car about an hour from here. We had to trim away some small trees but hubby was able to wiggle in and get the regulator out. There was no way to know if it worked until we got home, and it did. We are one step closer.
