^^^ Honestly, doesn't look like he's going to make it........ (Or maybe he's SUPPOSED to just crash into the row of cars and just walk away? I've seen that being done.)
^^ Some kind of special edition 4-4-2 up top? I remember seeing a few of these back then, around a '85 - '86?
^^^ Looking at this pic, it's a bit difficult to determine just when it was taken. I'm guessing some time around 1957 or 1958. Here's what I see: 1. TWO Vehicle carriers with what appears to be USED Volkswagens. They're all pretty dirty, and the one up top in the front on the rear carrier has a smashed fender. Carrier in the front looks like he's still loading - one bug secured in front, second one just being driven on. Got a VW work van and another bug on the left in the pic that might be going on the transport as well. 2. The 2-tone Studebaker on the right front in the photo appears to be a 1955 'Speedster' model, sort of a 1-year only performance model before the Hawk got introduced for 1956. The Mercury behind it appears to be 1955-ish vintage as well. 3. Photographer appears to be standing on the open tailgate of a station wagon, roof front and center in the pic. I'm just basing my guess of 1957-58 on the appearance that there doesn't seem to be any 'new' vehicles in the pic, and the newest being from 1955.
