Had my wagon for a few months now and I've put in quite a bit of work (lights, trim, trans drop, etc.), But have had a really hard time finding seat covers for 50/50 bucket front seats.

I know they're identical in size and shape to the Crown Vic / Grand Marquis of the era, but have been unsuccessful in finding any covers that aren't a complete custom job.

Before I drop a couple hundred bucks on covers that I might not like the look / fit of.

Can anyone recommend a good cover/ solution for my poor torn up seats?

Where are you located? Are there any auto dismantlers near you? I figure, the best thing would be to find a good used front split bench set, put them in regardless of color, just run those while you have an upholsterer redo yours with matching material.

In Vegas, Nevada. I've been to a few pick a parts and the few I saw were just as bad due to the desert sun bearing down on them for four decades, I considered doing what you suggested anyway, but for $80 a seat, I didn't feel it was worth it.

Kinda why I wanted to go the cover route, because it's worked for me in the past but man these are big seats!

Oh, yeah, desert Southwest can be brutal. But keep looking; someone was bound to have parked their Panther in the garage.
