Nothing here yet on the floor of the Willamette Valley, but we've had quite a bit of rain. Good amount of snow already up in the Cascades, although I don't think they're ready to open up the ski areas just yet. Temps are staying pretty low. Partly sunny right now, 11:10 AM, and it's only 39* out there......

Here's a rare sight, The Furry and F-100 out of hibernation while there is still snow on the ground.

One of the springs on the garage door broke, so in order to replace them I needed to move them out of the way.

Gotta keep them babies nice and snug until May. Be careful with those springs OrtmannJ.

Hope they don’t think you don’t love them anymore. Get that spring fixed. They’re not used to roughing it. Lol.

    Thanks!
Yup. Thankfully it was a nice day (for winter) and it wasn't snowing or sleeting or hailing...
I am not afraid to take on most household repairs, but garage door springs are one thing I will not mess with. Called in an expert and let them handle it.
LOL I hope not! Got the spring replaced and the door is good as new. Maybe even better than new..
    Thanks :thumbs2:

Good decision! I can't remember for sure, but I MAY have had a door spring break on me back in the early 80's shortly after we bought our first house. I took a good look at it and also decided not to do the work myself. We may have just replaced the whole door and everything - don't remember for sure. House was built in the mid 60's......

A buddy of mine once commented about how I used to jump into stuff, regarding cars. That was one thing of which I mostly got away with pulling off. When it's about personal computers though, I've gotten bitten in the seat of my pants enough times, to know to stay away with tinkering on the programming. Pressing one false key was enough to send me one way into cyber orbit
