Not sure what the seller's definition of 'low production' is.

    Here are the figures.
The 2-door Ranch Wagon accounted for about 3.2% of the total 1959 Ford passenger car production.
That 3.2% though amounted to 45,588 2-door Ranch Wagons.
Ford produced 1,390,620 passenger cars in 1959.

Which is amazing when you think of this nearly 1.4 million Fords it was basically a T-Bird and 3 body styles of the same car for the most part. It wasn’t like there were 5 different platforms. Also didn’t Ford outsell Chevy. ‘57 and ‘59 were good years for Ford.

They were neck and neck in '59. The total I got from one website is 1,436,914 for full-sized Chevy production in '59. These numbers do not include the Corvette or the El Camino. The Ford numbers I posted also do not include the Ranchero or the Thunderbird.
