Bidding starts at $9,000. No bids yet.
Wagon looks pretty solid, with a few little blemishes on the body. Could use some rubbing compound and polish/wax on the paint.

Are buyers starting to get VERY hesitant about buying ANYTHING that drinks a lot of gas? I think so......

It’s not just what drinks gas. I was at the Carlisle swap meet last weekend and a lot of vendors were complaining that people weren’t spending money. My business has contracted in the last few months as well. The recession is already here…they just won’t tell you about it because there is an election coming up.

Recession or no, I think we've reached the point where almost any "classic" car is outside of reach for anyone not well off. The average factory performance car flirted with 6 figures 2-3 years ago and that's just something folks like us here can't afford to toss around on whims. The last decade has seen prices go up and up and up to the point where it was getting ridiculous. And we all know that the rich like to play with their money but rarely care about something that isn't their true passion outside of what its value is and how much money it can make them - leading to rich guy circle jerks over how much they can buy a car for and then flip it to some other idiot for 20-40% return in a few months doing absolutely nothing to it. I think a lot of the hype rich folks were buying into the last 5-6 years leading to $25k values on cars like this one has finally started to wear off and those rich folks look for other places to park their money. Hopefully prices come down and none of the little folks like us loses their shirt on a car. If prices come down then we can afford to buy them for fun and hobby usage again.

Why are there 18 seat belts on the front bench?

Individual shoulder and lap belt each for driver and passenger, plus the middle lap belt set. That's 6 belts on the bench.
