    Shows you where my mind goes. Saw the surfboards, but kept wondering what damage did that rack do to the gutter drip moldings. Lol. Also, think he means October of 1958. October 7, 1959 would have been about the week of the 1960 introductions!

    Makes sense though - when I see surfboards, Michigan is the first state that comes to mind....

    I heard that Michigan was trying to get that big surfer championship moved from the North Shore of Hawaii back to somewhere on their Great Lakes...you know, the big event in late January.....so with this car, you'd be prepared.

    Yeah, and instead of sourcing an OEM roof rack, those 1972 Econoline roof racks really look great!
