    There's a little roof rot under thar vinyl top, but I wouldn't be skeered!

    It look like it might only be 26k on it, and I'll bet if you went over there with 35 new crisp Benjamins, you'd get it, and it'll be a steal. I bet I could have that vacuum leak figgered out in an afternoon and I'd drive the wheels off it down here. What would be neat if you could get some kind of adapter and put a 4r70w AOD from like a 2011 Townie behind it and get 20+ MPG, as it prolly as high numerical gearing.

    Since these had 460 engines, an E4OD is a direct bolt-up, and it would just need a stand-alone controller and resized driveshaft. The 4R70W is too small in torque capacity, even with a big fluid cooler, to go behind a 460, and would need an adapter plate, which is its own hassle.
    I'd love to EFI convert one with a full truck drivetrain from a '96 3/4 or 1 ton rig, 460 engine, trans and a late Seventies center section with a 3.50 or 3.73 gear ratio.
