White on green. Interesting colour combo. I agree, it looks nice in white.

That’ll probably fetch a pretty penny. 396 and A/C. Winner in every book.

It has the super rare tilt and telescopic steering wheel. I believe it is sourced from the Cadillac line. Funny that they offered it in the mid 60s but then never again on a full-size Chevrolet. I’ve only seen tilt and telescopic wheels In Corvettes after that

I guess the $14,646 is reflective of the rust issues. Who knows what's behind all that window trim. This is a nice car, but it needs a repaint and potentially some body work. It sure does look good in white though. Overall, I like this car. I just wish it was cleaner.

Yeah I guess I really hadn’t looked that close, but there is a lot of pesky rust issues to deal with here. All the rear window area and below the belt line. That’s probably gonna be expensive to fix it right.

Congratulations. We had an artesian turquoise’66 growing up. It only had the 327. You gonna drive it, fix it? That tilt telescope can’t be on too many of these. Nicely optioned car.

Yes, congratulations and welcome to the forum. That is one really nice car you bought. And although I feel like people pay too much on BAT, every now and then someone gets a deal. Everyone brings up the rust issues but overall the car is very solid so if you choose to repair them I don’t think it would add too much more to the cost of a high-quality paint job. The car also seemed nice enough to enjoy it just the way it is if you chose to do so.

Congrats on the purchase! It's still a great car, no matter what anyone says. (y)

Congratulations, and welcome to the forum!

The last of two wagons our family had while I was growing up, was a rather plainly-equipped 2-seat '66 Caprice Custom. I didn't like it much as a kid, mostly because it only had a 327 under the hood. (Well that, and the fact I had to ride in the way-back as CARGO when the whole family had to go some place.......)

    You're gonna LOVE IT!
