Wagons in vintage Street scenes

Often when I am going through these threads I spend just as much time looking at the architecture of the the buildings in the photo as I do in looking at the vehicles.

 

Unknown location Down Under. May be Surfers Paradise, in the state of Queensland, Australia, on the northeastern “Gold Coast".

Thanks! Location wasn't familiar to me (and understandable, since I've never been to Santa Fe......).

 

Well, this is one building that had remained remarkably the same since the 60's..... here's the photo again that Jeremiah posted....


The address for the Desert Inn was 311 Old Santa Fe Trail in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Appears the original pic was maybe for a 'postcard shot' or something - the camera location was in a far back corner of the parking lot. I couldn't get that location on Google Earth, so I grabbed a fairly current image from the street.......
