Here's something unusual. An Olds 98 without air-conditioning. At least, no compressor is visible in the engine compartment photo. A/C was always an option on Oldsmobiles, including the most high-end ones, until the '77 Toronado, which, as I've mentioned elsewhere, was the first Olds ever to feature A/C as standard equipment. Unusual, though, for someone to put out the kind of money to buy a 98 and then leave out one of the most luxurious of luxury options, air-conditioning. Of course, the compressor and associated brackets might simply have been removed. We don't have a view of the part of the dash with the HVAC controls. Car looks nice, though. As always, love the 4-door hardtop body style. The fender extensions and bumper filler, which have usually rotted away on these cars, still look good. https://www.facebook.com/marketplac...wse_serp:0565ac0a-bf92-4e22-80f0-67f86995d36c
It has all the crap on the firewall for an A/C system. Looks like somebody just took the compressor and lines off.
