Friend of mine's mom had a slightly older one, from before they put turbos on the diesel (1979 I think) and OMG was it a slow car. It was downright unsafe to merge onto the freeway once the speed limit of 70MPH was reinstated, pedal to the floor and and an egg timer were what you needed. Hopefully the turbo made them more palatable. I recall these being seen as the pinnacle of a fancy-rich-folks-type car back 35-40 years ago.
In my travels around So Cal, I saw quite a few of these. Big sellers, seen as a more expensive alternative to the minivan in the 80's.......
After reading through their entire ad not only do I not know anything more about the car, but I also don't know what their asking price is.
Not important. No matter how bad your credit, they will finance you today. My question is what is this bunch doing with an 80s MB wagon? In my area this type of dealer specializes in repo'd/off lease Kias & Hyundais.
