My '77 wagon had the 2.8L-2V (2150 Motorcraft)/C4, and it would scoot pretty darned fast! Not to mention, it was the same color inside and out, but it wasn't a Squire.

^^^ One of my very favorite You Tube channels - quite entertaining! After building the 'MORRVAIR' (as he calls it - Matt's Off-Road Recovery 'Vair), he's now just finishing up a total overhaul of his prior recovery vehicle, a '92 or Jeep Cherokee. Bought a new custom stroker 4.6 liter version of the original 4.0 Jeep straight 6 for it.

Yesterday my wife and we’re moseying about to a minor league baseball game. As we went down through a town to get there, she saw this nice 1960(?) Chevy Biscayne panel wagon/sedan delivery in the parking lot of a restaurant there. I pulled in to check it out but was in a hurry and didn’t get to interrogate an owner. It’s definitely a three on the tree but I don’t know anything else about the driveline.

Dang! That's one sharp looking 60 chevy! Thanks for sharing.

If it's three-on-the-tree, it'll have a straight-six or small block V8 from the factory (our '59 4-door had the six). But that is gorgeous! I bet that has been repainted, but if original, all the better!

By the front Emblem it is a 348. By the rear Emblem it is a 235-6. No telling what it has, lol.

Also, a 3-Speed column shift could be with any of the engine options in '60.

    Pretty nice car.

A 348 with 3 on the tree would be some combo.

As I recall, the 348 wasn't, BUT, that doesn't mean someone didn't insist on one and paid the lucre for it.

I just ran across this post. That is a nice example. With that car not having a back seat, having the one piece tailgate and carrying the Delray name it looks like a windowed sedan delivery or a very good copy.
With the california bumpers, 6cyl. emblems and cardboard interior side panels it looks to be one of the govt. purchased ones like mine.

Do you remember where it was? I’ve still never seen one besides mine in real life..

Yes it’s a ‘60. 59’s had the eyebrows above the headlights and the rear fins touched each other in the back.

Yes, it is a nice car indeed. It is in the Tri Cities. I've seen it in Pasco and my sister, who lives down there, has seen it in Richland.

Nice! I have cousins in Kennewick. He’s in the car scene but I haven’t talked to him in years. Last I knew he was building a rat.
