    Hi all,
Just wanted to give a heads-up and post this for purposes of coming up in searches for the following situation.

I have a "Station wagon wanted" post in the classified section of this forum. I just got a private message from someone (with no other posts on this forum) stating the following:

Cudaracer276@gmail Email Jason in Virginia he has an early-80s Chevrolet Caprice Estate for sale. Here's his email jasonwilly1960@gmail.com
So I sent an email to that address. Then decided to Google it. Turns out that very same message (except the item) is posted on many other "want to buy" posts on different forums around the 'net, with stories of people's scam radars going off.

Hoping this helps other people to avoid wasting their time.

    The search continues!

Thanks for reporting this here, Spartan.

@wagonmaster New twist. There are quite a few instances of this being reported across different forums, most time leading to fake photos of items for sale and cash only transactions through Zelle.
