    Imagine this will go for some serious money. Rare even back in the day and shows well. Always thought the Mercury people did a great job modifying the Mustang into something that, IMO, looked much more upscale.

    Agreed. I had a teacher in 4th grade that had a brand new 1970 orange XR7 convertible I just thought that car was the end. I can still see it today with that white interior gleaming in the sun. Her husband who was the gym teacher drove an Orange and black F-150 Ranger pickup. I would imagine what those two in the garage looked like. Dreamy.

    Nice!!! I wouldn't kick it out of my driveway for being banana yellow. Mercury did a great job of taking this platform to the next level.
