What an odd duck - and it's a NEPA car - darn, it must've been hermetically sealed!

Yeah, really the only thisng special was the low miles & Manual Trans. My mother owned a much more highly optioned 78 with the 4-Speed trans. It was a love hate releationship, as she loved the manual transmission, but Hated the stock shifter. I ended up putting a Hurst shifter in for her, and it helped. But the Saginaw 4-speed is not a great shifting transmission.

That car went for strong $$$ IMO. At least it met reserve that I thought would be around $5000 more than it sold for!

I say the same for the one in my newly purchased 67 Firebird. If it wasn't so stock I would be tempted to put a 5-speed OD like a T5 in it.

    That is truly shocking!

Who would want it - and what do you do with it?

I could take it to Arizona and use it for a glorified sweat box. Not a practical ride for a Sunny state. Who ordered that thing? Lol.

Some doofus in Moosic, PA. Yeah, if it weren't so original, a T-5 or T-45 and factory A/C install would be necessary to make it a decent cruiser/driver.
