Right? However, wave 2500-3000 bucks in front of him and you'd have what seems like a pretty straight rustfree car. The engine is up to you, if you wanna go FE, Windsor, or modular. This is a good canvas to make a wagon a good driver, providing you can do some work yourself. It does seem pretty complete. I think it'd be neat to have a whole running gear out of a newer CV/GM/TC under this thing. I wouldn't worry about ruining a nice car then....The days of getting a car like this for $500-1000 are pretty much over. I sure hope it gets saved.
Well, not *everything*. Has the period-correct steering wheel wrap. (Actually, I think these became popular in the '70s, but never mind.)
Could you imagine this thing with a 4.6 with/4r70/75 and discs all around? But keep the stock vibe, except for maybe Torq-Thrust/Bullitt wheels....oh yeah You guys might as well ask - have you planned this out before? Yes, I almost bought a 65 Country Sedan - a twin to this car- back in 2004, but I got involved in other cars instead, but never forgot the ideas I had for it....and I still think it's a great plan!
