Although not quite as good as this one, about 15 years ago I sold a '72 Kingswood Estate for $700. Had a 400 Small Block too.

 

The market interest on these wagons has gone through the roof in just the past few years.

Maybe he’s describing the color. It’s closer to the color than the condition.

 

I read the craigslist ad. He claims the car is original paint. He either doesn’t know anything about cars or he is a gigantic scammer. It is easy to see that the car has been painted, especially with that close-up picture of the lower quarter panel. You can see the screw on the marker lamp bezel has been painted. Also the door jams are a different color than the rest of the car. Either an extreme dummy, or an extreme scammer.

 

Since it rolled under there unwrapped it was actually found by his granddaughter who assumed it was a dead mouse. But alas after removing the multiple layers of carpet lint and debris the Patty was in remarkably good condition. It tasted ok too!
