Would you believe that building still exists? Closed and empty, but it's still there.....
Desert Center, California is off Highway 10, about 20-25 miles east of Palm Desert (near Palm Springs)

 

This image is a view to the Northwest on West Broadway, South Boston, MA sometime in the late 1960's. The intersection of West Broadway and D St. is on the far right at a sign pointing down D St to “Blinstrubs Parking.” Blinstrubs Village Club, a famous nightclub, is on the near corner of the intersection.
