16k-Mile 1990 Cadillac Brougham d'Elegance for sale on BaT Auctions - ending July 6 (Lot #50,750) | Bring a Trailer
Bid to $28,000 with 5 days to go. Maybe Cadillac sedans are becoming the next thing or maybe the leather in this one is irresistable. Know if this was mine I would probably spend time just sitting in it like a little kid.
The '90-92 of these cars are the ones to get. The '87-89 versions (that I had) had a 307 and was kind of a dog to drive and incredibly complicated under the hood and dash. The TBI 350 version that this car has was a ridiculously impressive upgrade in the driving department. Still hard to justify 28 kilobucks for it, it is in very nice shape with the black on black but you'd have to REALLY want it for that price. Especially considering you can find ones that are way cheaper in more drive-able condition.
Not even close to a record! This one sold on BAT a little while ago at $70K! No Reserve: 38k-Mile 1991 Cadillac Brougham d'Elegance for sale on BaT Auctions - sold for $70,000 on April 21, 2021 (Lot #46,612) | Bring a Trailer
Maybe these prices aren't as crazy as we think. Where else are you going to find a vehicle of this type ? Excluding the Rolls and Benleys that cost more than the average house luxury vehicles seem to be limited to SUVS and sport sedans. Lincoln tried to reintroduce the soft luxury sedan a few years ago and had to abandon the effort when sales went nowhere. If you are one of those who really wants an old school luxury barge type of ride then you are going to have to actually buy an old school lixury barge.
