1959 Merc Commuter hardtop - Santa Fe, NM

Wow, this would be a looker - looks like it has some floor rust. My dad had a loaded '58 Commuter back in the day, but green with a white roof. I would love to have one of these 57-60 Merc hardtop wagons.

But is has me thinking - ya know how rich people commission artists to do work for them? Well I have a spectacular idea - hear me out. Let's all pass the hat around and scrounge up some bucks and we have our own in-house "artiste" to run with this. See if you can guess who!

The pros:
It's in Santa Fe - like his previous blank canvas - check
It's red - check
hardtop wagon - check
late 50's - check
has all of its glass this time - check

The cons:
High buy in
wrong brand - (He's a BOP guy)

Bringing this Merc back would take more energy, money, and skill than I have but agree with moparandfomoco.
