I would bet high 5 figures to low 6 figures. Cars are really blowing through all expectations. It’s crazy.
The crazy times may just be beginning and it is more than cars. Down here boat dealers can't keep inventory and nice houses are sold as soon as listed. I listen to an investment "guru" on my morning walk each Saturday and his opinion is that the stock market is so inflated that more and more people are taking their profits out and are buying "tangibles" - houses, boats, cars etc. Interesting to watch but sad to see so many things being priced out of reach.
Seems like the lightly-modified ones go for a bit more than a 'mostly-original' one, like the one shown here. I'm guessing the high bid on this one won't go beyond $75k.......
Still only at $30,000, with less than an hour and a half to go. Looks like 5 or 6 bidders are interested. NO ONE's going to take it at this price. I'm sure the reserve is up around $80k or so..... This one' probably going to end up as a 'no sale'. I'll come back in an hour.... (Bidding ends around 12:50PM or so, PST....)
yeah, this is really nice. With prices of other things on BAT i really thought this would go high. But still time, and I've seen prices go up 50k in last 30 minutes.

You know seeing what these we’re going for a couple of years ago, and what ‘57’s are bringing, I’m not sure if this wasn’t an ok buy. I was in the Krash Kamp and even a little higher thinking 75-100ish but I know you sure couldn’t do a hulk of Nomad back to this quality for anywhere near $58,000. Congrats to the new owner!
I'm surprised is sold that cheaply......... Buyer got a GREAT deal, even if he has to put a few thousand into it.........
