My 79 year old mom in Indiana told me yesterday she tested positive for Covid. She had been feeling bad since last Thursday, got tested on Monday and got results yesterday. She's not having breathing trouble. My dad is 81 and was sick 2 weeks ago but wasn't tested. I would appreciate your prayers for her and my dad. I'm in NC so not much I can do. The doctor told them to quarantine for 10 days. Their neighbor will be getting them groceries as needed.
Mark, very sorry to hear that your Mom and Dad have the virus. Pam and I will pray for their recovery.
Ditto Mark. Please make sure they are drinking a ton of water and taking at least a 1000 milg of vitamin D daily. God speed to them.
They'll need a small support group to keep them safe and fed during the isolation. Hopefully, they have that. Check in with them every day. Praying....
Good luck to them Mark. I'm right in that age bracket. If not for my adult kids, I don't know what I'd do. Glad they talked my wife and I into leaving Florida over four years ago. Sending prayers and much luck.
Wish your family the best and the fortitude to get thru these times, my prayers for all of you. keep us posted
Update: My mom is doing well and sounding better every day. She never had a fever, or lost sense of taste or smell. She was nauseous and achy starting on Thursday Dec 17, got tested Mon Dec 21 and results came back Tuesday Dec 22 that she was positive. She goes back in for a follow up test to see if she is negative now. My dad and brother have not had any symptoms. Great neighbors and friends have kept them supplied with food, but all are feeling stir crazy. My dad and brother will also get a test tomorrow. My brother does upholstery work and is planning on going back in Wednesday which is the 10 day quarantine is over. Thank you for prayers.
That’s so great to hear Mark. Continued prayers for full and speedy recovery, as well as to smite this damn virus!
