https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1982-dodge-mirada/ Not sure why, but i really like this one. the color/interior. All nice
I almost bought one very much like it in 83 (no T-Tops though) I liked it but it was a very slow car even with the 318 powering it. After the dealer would not come off the MSRP I ended buying a low mileage 1969 GTO instead. But it was a nice riding if slow car. I also liked the way it drove and handled for the time. This one is tempting at under $5000
I always liked these with the T-top. But I always thought they looked best in black or maroon. Always wanted one with the optional 360. A guy who was a friend of a friend bought this one new, and last I heard he still had it.
There was a gorgeous older gal that worked near where I lived , when I was in college, who had a black Mirada. I always liked that design (and her in it, she was really tall), and I worked on one once that had a 'midnight' blue metallic paint that looked really great.
Interesting car from the post-malaise-pre-minivan\k-car era Dodge. It still has that damn lean burn computer on it. I've ridden in a Ram Charger from the era with the 318 and yeah, it was very much an underwhelming experience. As much as we mock and don't appreciate the 4 cylinder economy cars that shortly followed these, they had about the same get up and go with better fuel economy. It's an appealing looking car and the interior is nice as well. Not really sure why these didn't sell, I know Dodge had a lot of issues in this era from before I was around but I don't see these types of cars as really any worse than what Ford or GM was offering.
Sad to say, but that is a pretty good price for the seller. I actually expected it to sell for less even in its condition and equipment level.
