No way that exterior is original. All emblems gone. $13,000. https://iowacity.craigslist.org/cto/d/iowa-city-1974-chevrolet-impala-wagon/7223237076.html
He does say that the paint's been redone "in the last 10 years." For the record, it has: Roof Rack Manual Windows 350 Engine Is that rear bumper original? It's a 74. Are the rear bumpers for 74 - 76 models supposed to have bumper guards? The rear bumper on it doesn't have guards.
I went and looked at this car yesterday, It’s a code 44 Light green car originally but is painted a correct 1975 Orange/Copper color. She has the badges for the fenders. It was done right, jambs are all painted, door frames are painted and it presents very well. It has had the dog legs repaired and the right front fender down low has been repaired. It has A/C, cruise, tilt, 6 passenger, power tailgate. It’s a very very solid car that needs some love on the inside. I made an offer on it and we are currently negotiating a final price. She removed the ad because another guy that’s a scammer took her ad and posted it for sale for $18,000
It needs a grill, front bumper fillers and a good detail and a radio. Otherwise the car is really nice. Remember guys, you can’t touch anything for under $7,000 and if you do it’s rusty or the interior is trashed
Pretty sure this is circa 2000 ish wagon from Texas, at that time sold for $1200? and had "Wagon Master" on the retractable window. Bought and went to MN. If I remember correct, the steering wheel is from a caprice,
Congrats on the buy. I have a hard time understanding what the scammer actually does? Pretend to own the vehicle, then sell to unknown buyer and they then in turn purchase the car and sell it to their new seller - like drop shipping? Or is this just an entire rip off with new picture for attention as bait and switch?
